What is good to think about

Purpose & placement

define permanent/temporary use, location, and orientation in relation to the sun/wind; determine the cover area, heights of transitions, and slope (≈10–15°) for drainage.

Material & weather

choose the fabric based on use (air-permeable HDPE, aesthetic acrylic/PES, waterproof PVC), check UV/UPF and fire classification if necessary (B1/M2); coordinate colors/branding.

Construction & safety

load-bearing anchors/posts, quality tensioners (stainless steel), wind protocol (quick release under strong gusts), basic maintenance and, where necessary, permits.
