Thermomembrane roofs
Thermomembrane (insulating) roofs use an air layer between two PVC membranes, which acts as effective thermal and sound insulation.
- Thermomembrane (PVC) roofs are a solution for both new builds and refurbishment projects where low weight and long service life are key. The membranes are welded into continuous, watertight seams, making them suitable for demanding weather conditions and large surface areas.
- They are suitable for flat and slightly pitched roofs, as well as semicircular (barrel-vault) and gable roofs of industrial, logistics, and commercial buildings, and for refurbishing worn roof coverings where we want to avoid adding heavy layers. If needed, we can also advise on selecting the membrane thickness and thermal insulation, and prepare a simple maintenance plan.
Advantages of thermomembrane (PVC) roofing:
- Condensation prevention – the correct build-up of layers (vapour barrier, insulation, membrane) reduces condensation and protects the structure.
- Bistveno boljša toplotna izolativnost – v primerjavi z enim samim slojem PVC ali z “antikondenz” ponjavo; posledično manj toplotnih izgub in stabilnejša mikroklima v objektu.
- Fire safety – in certain certified systems, at around 170°C the roof opens using fusible elements (to vent heat and smoke) while not burning, smoking, or dripping; always in accordance with the selected system’s specification and applicable fire regulations.
- More natural daylight through a thermomembrane roof = lower electricity consumption and better working conditions.

A bright, reflective layer reduces overheating in the hall and lowers cooling costs, while maintaining a stable indoor climate for users. The solution also adapts well to large spans on barrel-vault and gable roofs.
Production facilities
A thermomembrane roof provides a bright production space and improves employee comfort while reducing heating and cooling costs.
Warehouses
Its low self-weight and installation without a substructure, combined with fast installation and low maintenance costs, make it a cost-effective choice for large areas.
